Yes, Lord. But I'm tired, and I've tried. I can't do this.
Yes, Lord. But I can't do this. I need You. I need Your strength, Your power to do this. Because I can't do this on my own, I need You.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Thought I had learned this last summer at camp. Nope. I'm still learning it. I fight, I fail, I am forgiven, and I keep learning. Learn that I have so much yet to learn. Perhaps it takes a lifetime to learn this. Yes, that's it. A lifetime of living for Christ to learn just how to live a life worthy of the Lord.
But by His grace, I am strong in Christ.
"For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Yes, Emily. That is so true. We often feel so weak and weary in our daily walk. We need His strength. His strength is always sufficient. We need to lay hold of that. Thanks for sharing. It really encouraged me this morning.

Thank you for sharing this, Emily. It encouraged me today. When we are tired, weak and just CAN'T GO ON, He is our Strength, His Grace is made perfect in our weakness. always. It is something that can never be something we've finished learning, but continue to learn every day of our lives... to take hold of God's strength and lean on HIM!

Eve - Yes, the font I used is Before the Rain. :) I recently found it and instantly fell in love with it--so pretty and unique!
