Let me know if you try it and what you think, k? =D
A verse I read today that jumped out at me:
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation.
-Psalm 51:12
I'm off to bury my head in history. *sigh*
The Ottomans were the first to use ultra heavy guns. One super cannon was 27 feet long. Its barrel was almost 3 feet in diameter with sides 8 inches thick. It could shoot a 1300 pound ball.
That is one massive cannon--I think I'd like to stay on their good side, wow.Oh, are the dates for my posts showing up for you? Cause they aren't working on my end and I have no idea why.
In Christ,

Miss Emily, that sounds like a marvelous recipe! Except I don't like pecans. ;) Lol, looks good though, but wow I can't believe you have to bake it for 60-70 minutes! That's a great verse!! :) And no the dates for the posts aren't showing up on my side of the country either... But I use Chrome so I can try it on Firefox and see. Hold on...
Nope not on Firefox either. :/ Wonder what's up???
Sounds delicious!
I use windows 7 and Chrome and they aren't showing up for me either...hmm...
Ins't that verse thought provoking? Read the other verses around it too. My pastor preaches a series of sermons on that passage at the beginning of the year and they were very refreshing and motivational.
Blessings!

Mmmm, I'd love to try this...it looks delicious! And I live in Georgia, so I definitely have plenty of genuine Georgia pecans to use. ;-) lol
The dates aren't showing up for me either...
Hmm...I don't see the dates...
Katie
Mmm, that looks AH-mazing! I l-o-v-e pound cake, pecans, & lemons- so I'm pretty sure I'd scarf up that cake!
Your posts weren't showing up on my dashboard, either! And I can't believe I wasn't following this blog before! Seriously, I was sure I'd been following it!
Your expand/collapse menu? It's so cool how the paper seems to be underneath- when I scroll, the frames and words move, but not the paper. Awesome! ;) I like stuff like that.
Same as everyone else; the dates don't show up for me...
Love,
Guin
That looks absolutely delicious! I will definitely have to try making that :)
May - You don't like pecans?! Poor you. I suppose you could make the cake without the pecans. Isn't it surprising how long you have to bake it! I was shocked when I read that for the first time, but then again the temperature is very low. =)
Näna - I read the whole chapter, it is wonderful! That verse just jumped out the most to me. =D
Guin - I know you've commented before, so you must have followed. Blogger does strange things sometimes...=P
Thanks everyone for letting me know the dates aren't showing up. Sometime I'll get around to figuring out the problem...
Oh, and if anyone tries the cake recipe--do let me know how you like it! =D
That. Looks. Delicious! :) I'll have to make it sometime soon. Thanks for posting the recipe! I'll let you know when I make it. ;)
Take care!
